An early draft of the standard is now available. It covers the structure of Fielded Text files and Fielded Text Meta. It has enough "meat" (content) in it to give a good understanding of what the standard is about and to give an idea of what needs to be done to make an implementation of it.
The document is still in "outline" mode. A later draft will tidy both this and other aspects of this document.
